Business challenge
The old website collected 3–5 form submissions per month. Visitors saw generic pages, bounced in 10-15 seconds, and forgot the brand. Mobile pages loaded too long. The site looked identical to competitors.
Design challenge
Create a visual identity that shows gaming expertise while maintaining corporate trust. Support both light and dark themes without breaking readability.
Use Gridsome + Vue.js + GSAP for 2D/3D animations. Keep page load under 2 seconds. Balance motion graphics with performance and accessibility.
Story
Together with the designer, I defined the visual direction, creating a color palette that worked perfectly in both light and dark modes. I included subtle gaming references and easter-egg nods to the client's flagship titles. Logo was reassambled from scratch.
Built with Gridsome, Vue.js components, and GSAP animations. Optimized images, lazy-loaded assets, code-split bundles. Initial load: under 1 MB.
Mentored a junior designer: taught hand-off processes, motion-to-component translation, and design system consistency across themes. Built a lead-capture form with client-side validation, secure CRM submission, and fallback behavior.
Results
By combining clear visual storytelling, a focused lead-capture flow, and a fast modern tech stack, the project transformed a simple brochure site into a lead-generation engine. It delivered measurable business growth and strengthened the client's position in the gaming market.
